When you complete an enquiry form we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the type of enquiry and anything you write in the message field. If you call or email us we keep a record of the contact details you provide and the details of your enquiry.

If we carry out a survey, quotation or installation for you we also hold the property address, the specification of the work, quotation and invoice records, and any correspondence about the job.

Our website may collect limited technical information such as IP address and browser type through standard server logs and any analytics we use, in order to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange and carry out a survey, prepare a quotation, supply and install products, register installations where required, honour guarantees and provide aftercare. The legal basis for this is performance of a contract with you, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We also use information to meet legal obligations, such as building-regulation registration of installations, health and safety requirements, and tax and accounting records. Where we rely on legitimate interests, for example, keeping records of past work so we can deal with a guarantee claim, we balance those interests against your rights.

We will only send marketing communications where you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.

We share information only where it is necessary to deliver the work or meet our obligations: with manufacturers and suppliers to order products to the correct specification, with the scheme providers that register installations and underwrite guarantees, and with our professional advisers, insurers and IT or communications providers who process data on our behalf under appropriate contracts.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only as long as reasonably needed to follow them up. Records relating to completed work, including quotations, invoices, specifications and guarantee documentation, are kept for as long as the guarantee period runs and for as long as required by law and our insurers, after which they are securely deleted or destroyed.

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask us to delete information where there is no continuing reason for us to hold it, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to request portability of information you have provided to us.
